Getting Involved
Our Mission Statement, Loving God, Connecting with Each Other & Influencing Our Community, guides our approach to ministries at First Baptist. The ministries listed here primarily involve the first two aspects - Loving God & Loving Each Other.
We believe that our growth as believers starts with our personal relationship with God. And through our worship service, Sunday School, and various small groups we provide many opportunities for everyone to grow closer to God and to each other.

| Description | Children's Sunday School meets at 9:15 a.m. from September through June. We have classes for ages 2 through Junior/Senior High, as well as a nursery for infants and toddlers. Classes will resume on September 12. Pre-K and Kindergarten: Students learn Bible stories, and through related activities and crafts, learn how these apply to their lives. Grades 1-5: Using the 252 Basics curriculum, students are learning these truths through a new virtue every month: 1. I need to make the wise choice. 2. I can trust God no matter what. 3. I should treat others the way I want to be treated. Junior and Senior High: Students are working through the Bible in an informal reading and discussion time. |
